The second level of the Baltimore Basics series of class taught by Patsy Mosby

Beginners, meet with this hand applique instructor for a 2 hr. class each month. You'll use Mimi Dietrich's book, Baltimore Basics, and some additional patterns provided by the teacher. By completing a block (10" or 12") each month, you'll have 12 finished blocks ready to set together in your own album quilt, a true family heirloom. Master curves, points, stems and perfect circles. Explore hand basted preparation, freezer paper, plastic template, stitch marked, and needle turn techniques. This project is being offered in two parts, with Part II building on the skills learned in Part I.

Hawaiian Hand Applique, with Patsy Mosby Experience the colorful history and culture of quilting in the islands, as you master traditional Hawaiian Hand Applique. You’ll learn to design your own “fold and cut” paper pattern, as well as perfecting needle turn applique techniques. Ideas for completing your project with hand quilting in the Hawaiian style will be discussed.

She specializes in the following patterns but if you have another please contact her and see if she can allow that one as well (many of the elements in Judy Niemeyer quilts are the same).
