In this class, students will learn various techniques to complete one of the Teeny Tiny Group 5 Laura Heine collage quilts. Students will choose from the teeny tiny pincushion, sewing machine or dress form.

Complete your quilts with smooth, mitered corner bindings. In this class you'll learn to cut and prepare continuous Binding, then attach it to a small quilt. Learn to join binding ends perfectly and hand finish w/ an invisible stitch. You will also make and take samples of each step for future reference. Some supplies are included in class fee.

Make all 7 blocks in Alex Anderson's Start Quilting book. If you've completed the Rail Fence quilt, you're ready to expand your piecing skills. Repeat the blocks to make the sampler quilt in the book, or use class blocks to create a project of your own. Prerequisite: Rail Fence class or experience in rotary cutting & strip piecing w/ scant 1/4" seams.

Make your very first quilt from start to finish! Learn to select fabrics, rotary cut accurately and sew a quilter's 1/4" seam. Make the quilt top w/2 borders and quilt it on your sewing machine. French fold binding completes the 41"x41" quilt--great for a wall hanging, table topper or baby.
